I Love Multi-Tasking

Arizona State University has an amazing gym, more commonly known as the Student Recreation Complex. Tonight at approximately 8:30pm Mountain Standard Time, Austin, Charlie, Mary, and I made our way across campus to it. There, Mary did some intense elliptical work while Austin, Charlie, and I headed to pump some iron. We did mainly chest and back, then I did a heap of abs. Then we parted ways so Austin and Charlie headed to the treadmill and I did the bike.

On the bike, as well as almost all the cardio equipment there are personal tv's. I enjoyed fifteen minutes of "Family Guy" and the first five minutes of "The Office", it is extremely motivating. After 5 painful and extremely sweaty miles, Mary and I finished randomly at the same time. We made our way downstairs to meet Austin and Charlie. We made our way over to them, where they were just walking, maybe a cool down?

No.

Not when "The Office" is on, anyways.
Mary and I: "Are you guys ready to go?"
Charlie and Austin: "Well we were."
MI: "What?"
CA: "Well, we finished running, then started to leave, and realized 'The Office' was on, so we came back to the treadmill and just started walking and watching."
MI: "Hahahahahaha"

We then proceeded to walk on the treadmill and watch the remaining twenty or so minutes of "The Office". I walked a mile while watching one of the funniest shows on tv. It was a good night.

Accomplished,
Derek
